Race Monitoring Mechanism
Electronic Chip
Each contestant has an electronic chip embedded in the number they were wearing. The chip is scanned at the starting point and when the contestants reach the end line. Each contestants time is determined on the time between the first time the chip was scanned and the second it is scanned.
Ranking of Winners
Upon arrival to the finish line, the first three contestants are awarded (regardless of their age group) and they are categorized under “Over All Winners”.
And then the top three from each category are rewarded (15 years and less, 16-29, 30-45, 46-59, 60-69, 70+)
An auditing process is made before the announcement of is made by a panel of judges.
